Watching your child struggle can be a helpless feeling, but there is no need for you and your child to walk this path alone. Therapy can provide you and your child with the skills and tools needed for surfing the choppy waters they are facing, learning from their experiences to weather future storms that may head their way, and using their strengths to thrive in the face of adversity.
In therapy, I use a variety of therapeutic approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy, exposure and response prevention, applied behavior analysis, mindfulness, trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy, and Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) to address the concerns your child is facing.
I specialize in working with youth who are experiencing symptoms of anxiety, depression, executive functioning difficulties, disruptive behavior difficulties, Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Selective Mutism, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and other pediatric concerns including sleep and toileting concerns.
